MoM Adjustable Vents

I was looking for the adjustable MoM kits that came with all the extra orifices. I know some people hate their vents and others swear by them. I did not want to pay the higher per vent price through Amazon so I reached out to MoM directly. The President contacted me back and said he would be speaking with Supply House to have them stocked there next week. Just figured I would put it out there for those of you who use those on the regular or new people needing them.

I believe you are the one I have seen recommend them fairly often. I decided to give them a try. All the calculations I'm getting based off gils calculating form suggests I should be using the C vent for most of my radiators. I thought it odd but I figured why not try them out. So far I'm not a huge fan of the Hoffman 1As I bought last year

@fxrgrunt you have a lot of threads running, I can't keep up,
before putting a lot of effort into the rad venting,
how is your main(s) venting?
best to settle the mains first, then balance the rads,
remember, mains fast, rads slow

Good evening. Sorry about all the threads. Trying to keep each topic separate instead of having one thread hitting 18 topics and going for 16 pages. I have two mains. A 66ft line and a 47ft line. The 66ft line now has 2 Gorton #2s on it. The 47ft like has 3 MoM #1s and a Hoffman 75.

I've used MOM's for years and they hold up just fine. The vent with the 5 orifices is a Godsend be cause it saves money and cuts the wear and tear on radiator threads that can come with vent swapping. Start with smallest vent on everything and increase the ones on slow radiators till they balance out.

Perfect. I just ordered a few direct from MoM. Supply house should carry them soon.
