NOT FOR ME LOL I'M RETIRED.

BUT I ALWAYS NOTICE A DROP OFF IN POSTS ON THE WALL OVER THE SUMMER. GETS A LITTLE SLUGGISH

BUT NOW THERE IS ARE MULTIPLE "BOILER CALLS" IN THE LAST WEEK OR SO.

FUNNY HOW A LITTLE BIT OF COOLER AND AND DROP IN TEMPERATURE BRINGS OUT THE BOILER REPLACEMENTS.

TRUTH IS, THE BOILER THEY HAVE IS THE SAME ONE THEY HAD LAST APRIL LOL

Same here too. My customer's pumps haven't gotten any better since last April but they don't do anything until now. Human nature I guess.

That's why its always a good idea for a homeowner to have a spring (A/C) and autumn (heat) maintenance. Finding an issue at that time is usually a less costly repair, as opposed to weekend or holiday rates at 3 a.m. and you're at the end of a long list of uncomfortable people.
Plan for the worst but hope for the best.

Homeowner here. I already did my boiler maintenance. Just need to oil the circulator still.

I had a pretty quiet period for May/June and then things went back to normal until it got down to 43 degrees on Tuesday. I have been getting no less than 30 calls a day since, and have sold 17 boilers and 44,000 ft of radiant slab installation in 3 days. Never seen anything like it.

I never get around to any heating projects until the pool is closed.

Summer is a good time to send postcards to your customers reminding them that winter is just a few months off and now is a good time to clean and check their boilers.
    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab
