Mini split A/C indoor wall unit dripping water from air outlet

I have a problem similar to this post

https://forum.heatinghelp.com/discussion/180419/troubleshooting-help-needed-lg-mini-split-leaking-from-air-outlet

But my unit is a Mitsubishi MSYGL12NA. And it does basically the same thing. Water comes out from the air outlet, it drips from the vanes and when you increase the fan speed it spits water droplets everywhere like its raining on you. But then it stabilizes a bit as time goes on at a particular fan speed, but still drips periodically.

My questions is - are the mini split indoor units prone to this sort of thing? Has anyone else had a similar issue and if so what was the cause and how did you solve it?

Check what the above posters said.

Also, make sure the condensate drain pipe/tube is not double trapped. If it is you can have an air bubble trapped between the two traps and it will not drain. The drain line must be pitched down all the way from the unit. If it drops down and then goes up (double trapped) it will not drain

The blower wheel is most likely plugged up with black fuzzy growth.  This is a big issue for any ductless mini split system.
