We recently purchased a brand new house based in MA (metrowest). We are having some "challenges" with the HVAC system (Bryant forced hot air) due to a very poor installation. The HVAC contractor has since been fired from the development. Rather than have an HVAC contractor come in and assess the system (and provide a quote to fix the deficiencies), I was hoping to get a recommendation for an engineer who could provide an independent review/evaluation of the system, along with a remedial action plan. This would hopefully provide me with some leverage with the builder. Let me know if you need any additional information. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I lived in a scorched air home for 30 years.
The HVAC system was a builders special.
After many attempts to resolve the condition I came up with a solution that improved our comfort.
A temporary fix for you is to set the fan run at least 10 minutes longer after the heat and cooling cycle turns off. This will allow for a little better circulation of of heated or cooled in each cycle.
