Any comments on the pro's or con's of painting radiators, more specifically, cleaning & then powder coating. Are any specific color's more reflective than others?

Twocomments. First, it's a pain to get all the old paint and rust off. It's also not really necessary, unless you are a fanatic. I use a good grade of interior acrylic paint on radiators (Benjamin Moore Aura) and have for years; if I manage to get the loose stuff off (scraper and wire brush) it lasts well.

With the advantage that I can match the room wall colour...

Second, avoid any metallic (silver, aluminium bronze, etc.) paints, as that can reduce the output of the radiator quite significantly. That is, unless you want to reduce the output such as the room is overheating and you can't control the radiator in some other way. Any other colour will have little or no effect on output.

Does anyone have a link to the old study that they did regarding the effect of different colors? I can't find it anywhere
You can have it good, fast or cheap. Pick two
