I went to a job yesterday and contractor used Blazemaster pipe and fittings on the snowmelt side of heat exchanger from boiler room to outside manifold. He said he has been doing it that way for approximately 7 years. Any thoughts on this?

This came up back in 2014.

O2 ingress is the issue."If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"

I also thought there was an issue using glycol in CPVC piping....0

You need to use glycerin as an antifreeze in PVC. It should be available wherever they supply Blazemaster.
It would be wise to use all non ferrous on the PVC side of the HX, as Carl mentioned.Bob "hot rod" Rohr
