2 thermostats in series as AND gate pump control

Hey gang,
I have a storage tank that is heated via renewables. I want to run radiators off the cylinder with a wall thermostat and a cylinder thermostat. If I wire them in series to work as an and gate, they should only provide power to the pump when both their conditions are met. is there a simpler way to achieve this?
Time of operation is not an issue.
Cheers.
