does anyone remember the G1 Opus boiler? We are having some issues with low water and have isolated it to the lower tank seam. Discussed opitons with the area wholesaler which sent me to the area rep, whom after a short discussion on how unacceptable their offer of a "rebate after purchase of new" was that person hung up on me. So much for life time warranties and customer service.
just wondering if anyone has some suggestions on what to do
best regards

I have asked the home owner to call Burnham at customer service . We will see how that shakes out.

Just an update from my customer He called Burham / usboiler and pressed #1 for "home owner customer service" discussed the issue with that person who was very short with him, down right belligerent. That person said they don't deal with end users and he should go back to where he purchased it. That person must have been having a bad day almost as if they had trudged thru waist-deep snow to work, up hill both ways! My customer said he would try again and ope to reach someone who cares.

Another reason not to buy from Burnham.
If anyone from Burnham/U.S. Boiler is reading this, you need to make this right. Why should we put up with this? All Steamed Up, Inc.

I got 3 Burnham total failures in January 2021 and 1 Weil-McLain (the first in 3 years). All of the Burnhams were 1-3 months outside of their 10-year warranty and my customers got ZERO in return. The last few years I've probably gotten 20 leaking Independence boilers back at around the 7-10-year mark. Now they're all out of warranty. It's an absolute crime. I was a flag-waving Burnham guy for over a decade. Now my reputation suffers for having attached my name to the company and I have to defend myself on the regular for having installed the product. They need to own up to the fact that they sold bad boilers for at least some portion of time about 10 years ago. Yes. It's that bad.Contact John "JohnNY" Cataneo, NYC Master Plumber, Lic 1784

The only experience I had with Burnham was a V8 steamer that rotted out in 8 years (twice, actually) and when I tried to get help I was told I was on my own.
I do not have a Burnham boiler now.Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

I have a 38 year old Burnham that is still going strong (knock on wood). Burnham made great boilers at one time. I am pretty sure my next boiler won't be a Burnham. I've seen too many failures, both equipment and customer service, to take the risk. Sad but unfortunately true.0

Every boiler looks good when it's new.
