is there a way to have the old screen on the phone? It takes a lot of scrolling to see posts0

The categories menu entries change to show mouseover and mousedown but there is no indication of the currently active category. It would be nice if it were highlighted in some way.0

I think the "mark all read" button has been mentioned already.
With the desktop view on mobile (Android, Firefox 84.1.4), a topic will be marked as read (grey text) when hitting the back arrow after reading, the same action with the desktop on Win 10 (84.0 64 bit, but it looks like it wants to update, <sigh>) needs a manual reload to get the grey text—when just going backwards the title of the just-read topic is still orange. IIRC this had been ongoing with the previous version too.
Again, with the desktop view on mobile, in landscape view, when I go back to a previously-read topic, the first few lines of the first unread comment are hidden under the title bar. Switching to portrait & back moves it to where it is visible; loading it in portrait mode works right.
Oh, I don't see a "save draft" button either.

Sorry @GW, we can't bring back the old screen to mobile devices.
@CLamb, I'll check to see if we can make the active category more apparent.
@ratio, @STEVEusaPA, @Garry Smith, unfortunately our forum software provider has discontinued the Mark All Viewed feature. I will share your comments with them to see if they can bring it back in future updates.
@ratio, we'll investigate the other things you've mentioned. Thanks for the additional info on your devices.President

One thing that I just realized was the Thank You button is missing. What happened to it, how can I thank you all now?
That was probably my favorite and most used button.Located in durham NC.

@DanHolohan
Thank You
I overall love the new design, I gave it a go on my phone and its so much easier to use than ever before. The Thank You button is the only thing that I will miss.Located in durham NC.

Thank you, Luke. I went through a bunch of upgrades when I owned this site. They each involved a huge amount of work on the back end and a lot of expense. I know from experience that you can never please everyone 100% of the time but I did the best I could with my team back then. I know that Erin is now doing the same now with her team. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and kind words.Retired and loving it.1

might I be picky , , , ?
when returning to threads to continue reading new comments,
system lands me right at the top line of the new comment, not showing the post's name header,
and I have to page up to see who I am reading,
this is on a windows 10 laptop, Edge browser(and others firefox, etc),

Let me start with, I'm not complaining,
It looks like someone tried something to get the user name to show as one returns to read new posts,
but maybe you coded in the wrong direction,
Now the 1st line of the new comment, and the user name label, are both hidden, and still require paging up,
I'll be quiet now.
