Looking for a diagram to install a new boiler :)

I need to replace my old now dead Utica Boiler with a Buderus GB142 and Buderus indirect hot water heater. I'm looking for a layout diagram to plumb the new to the old. The old system used cast iron radiators which I'll keep.

I'm not sure if it's allowed on this site, but I would have no problem paying for this as a service.

Thanks so much for any help!
-Mike

The GB142 was discontinued a couple of years ago?

Just made this conversion myself from a large cast-iron boiler to a modern HTP UFT modulating condensing boiler.

Take a look here for diagram from manual on my thread.

I’ll also post my updated drawing today

There's a diagram in the boiler's Installation & Operation manual included with the unit.
    Every boiler has one.

I need a plumbing to English translator for it. I'm just not 100% on how to layout the zones, if I can use PEX to copper/what diameter, where the magnetic filter should be setup, what size expansion tank I need, if anything can be installed to guard against the various metals flowing through the aluminum boiler, etc.

That's how long I've been sitting on this...

Thanks, I'll take a look at that. I'd still rather work from a diagram for my system. I've read on here some guys provide that as a service.

You have to use the Low Loss Header (or similar one) that comes with the boiler.

Are you replacing an existing boiler or installing a new system?

Well then that's a very different thing you're asking for. System design and layout is to some extent site specific. Maybe someone here will help you.

I am using the steel Low Loss Header that came with the boiler. It's where a little confusion comes in on my part as the supply and return inputs are 1.5" so I wasn't sure if I had to plumb to the zones with that size. The existing cast iron radiators are plumbed with 1 1/4" copper.

I'm replacing the ancient cast iron Utica Boiler. I'd like to replace all the associated valves, bleeders etc as well.

I don't want to end up like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer :)

Pics of new boiler or new and old?

The boiler and its near piping and controls and ancillary components.

Every system is custom piped when it's installed. There's no generic answer to most of your questions, so provide as much visual as possible.
