Hello,

I think my L8148A unit has bad relay switch issue.
I want to try part replacement before entire unit replacement.
Does anyone know about the part information(part number, source, etc.)?

Thank you.

The relay in that unit is not replaceable by itself. Just replace the control.

It makes sense to upgrade to an AquaSmart or HydroStat type control, as this will save some energy. And the cost is roughly the same.

Your easiest change out is the Honeywell L7224U. This can be set up exactly like your L8148 control and it has ASI settings to reduce short cycling

Once you have that control we can talk you thru the setup. That is my go to control for many reasons.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

The Beckett Aqua-smart control is similar but has additional energy saving features

You will need additional accessories to use all the energy saving functionality
