One of my clients in Alexandria VA had this steampunk artwork commissioned. It takes up an entire wall of a sunroom. Lots of hydronic and steam components are incorporated.

The sad thing is that I can positively identify like 90% of that stuff. Including the Nest thermostat base, the trumpet, the clamp for a garden hose repair fitting & the toilet fill valve. Not sure about the actual function of the electronics, or the breed of the animule.0
