Hydra boiler heating problem element remain on

HI, I have an hydra electric (water) heating boiler. When system stops, the water temp remains at all time about 130-140 degrees F. It seems as if an element remains on , no lights are on indicating elements are on.
By the way, my system is with a electronic board, no relays. What can be the issue ?

First, it's possible that that's what it's meant to do. Check the literature. What's the model number?

Second, how long does it hold? If there's no circulation, and the insulation is decent, it could hold temperature for quite a while.

It could be that boiler is setup to maintain temperature. A thermostat call just turns on the circulator pump. In some boilers you can choose between always hot, or cold start.

Of course the cold start will have a delay, how much depends on the water content.

Be sure to turn it off in the summer if you choice "maintain" option.
The operation manual should walk you through the options if they exist.
Boilers with electronics usually have a bunch of control logic options. Look for outdoor reset function also, that can save energy and increase comfort.
