running hydronic heating pipe through wall

hi, i have a hydronic baseboard heating system. I'd like to put a new wall up in the basement but the heating element is in the way. I'm thinking of removing the aluminum fins in the place where the wall will go and just having the bare pipe pass through the wall. is this ok? what's the best way to remove aluminum fins without damaging the pipe?

The fins are fancy aluminum foil. Cut them with tin snips and remove. Not a chance that you will damage pipe. You will have a bit less heat. Should be negligible
