thank you for your time. Question is i have a burnham boiler the sysytem is working BUT i noticed when the thermestat is NOT calling for heat the relay inside the aquastat is IN [energized] and when the thermestat calls for heat the relay in the aquastat DROPS OUT [de energized] and the boiler fires up and works fine..SHOULDN'T be the opposite?? This aquastat was replaced 5 years ago and we had no problems since. again i say the boiler is working fine. thank you .

Clap on...clap off...the clapper!HVACNUT said:On the clapper, out is on, in is off.
If the heat is not on, you can gently pull the clapper and the burner and circulator will start. There was an error rendering this rich post.
