Boiler issue or no?

We have been having issues with our shower in both upstairs washrooms getting cold after a few minutes of showering. When i get out of the shower and run the sink tap there is hot water at both sinks and any other sink in the hose, but shower is cold. I thought it might have been a shower tap mixing cartridge at first but i replaced them in both showers and still having the same issue.
I have a Comet 145 oil fired hot water boiler.
I dont know much about the boiler and was wondering if it has anything to do with the boiler that is causing the issue. I also have the water temp setting on boiler set on 5. Not sure if there is enough info in this post for someone to diagnose my issue or not. Before i have to call someone in to look into this for me....Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you know whether your Comet is set up with an indirect hot water heater, or is it set up with the domestic hot water coil?
