Main Vent Piping

I need to replace a gorton no 1 main vent and am looking to do so with a gorton no 2. I have less than 14” from the main to ceiling and am a bit afraid the no 2 vent + 3/4” to 1/2” coupling + 6” pipe will not fit.
Can I get away with something shorter, or do I need to use a 45 to run it out longer?

Do you really need the capacity of a #2 compared to a #1? Perhaps, two #1s would meet your need. A #2 is around $95 vs. an additional #1 is around $30.0
