Lochinvar KBN150 not turning on.

Hey guys.

I have Lochinvar KBN150 boiler that was running for a couple of days with no problems but had to shut it down due the leaky fittings. As I tighten everything in, tried to turn it back on, but would not start. The display will light up, with nothing in the display, along with the clicking noises, sounds like coming from the control board. Does anybody know why it's doing that?

Make sure all cables and connections are tight.

Condensation float tripped?

Check your water pressure and make sure your system is fully purged of air.

Check to see if there's a call for heat.

Now it’s telling me “Lock out- Wrong E Code 0000”?

I don't see that error message in their service manual.

Have you tried to reset it?

Yes, it goes back to clicking noises. But nothing else happens.

If no one else responds, call Lochinvar on Monday. They will want to know model and serial number.

My KBN080 was acting up, showing low fan speed.
Turns out the call for heat signal was bouncing on and off due to a zone relay. IIWM, I would remove the wires and then jumper out the tstat connections at the boiler, that just eliminates that possibility.

Thanks guys for the help, but I tried everything I could think of. I'm thinking it's the control board. But I will call Lochinvar on Monday to confirm. I will update.

There are 2 fuses in the control board.....PITA to get to.
Worth checking at this point.
Don't completely remove the screw on the right, just loosen.
If you remove you will understand why not to do it.

Sorry, meant to update this. This is the strangest thing that happened, I just left it on overnight, and it just started on its own. Everything is fine!
