Adding a second riser to boiler

Hey all, I want to add a second riser to my Weil McClain boiler. The boiler has two punch out sections for risers. I believe this will lead to better steam quality. Is this a complicated fix? Thank you

To add a second riser is not advisable. If you do not have problems and it ain't broke don.t fix it.
The second riser will need a complete work up of the piping leaving the boiler. Lot of work and possibly money.

It's worth looking at the install manual for your boiler to see what the manufacturer recommends. Of course more can be better, but is there a specific issue you are trying to solve?
