Pressure releases water replaced the pressure release ,extrol tank,auto fill valve and can vent pressure release still leaks about quart of water.

Was the pressure tank properly pre-charged? What needs to happen is that the tank needs to be empty, and then air put into it through the Schrader valve to the system cold pressure. Then you can hook it up to the system. The autofill valve should then be set to the same pressure. To check, let the system sit cold. The pressure in the system shouldn't change. When you fire it up, the pressure should rise by two or three psi -- not much more.
If you building is a more or less standard two story, the cold pressure should be around 15 psi, no more.Br. Jamie, osb
