Want to use heat cable on pex and brass under the unit. Should i be worried about proximity to gas line? Safety barrier? Any advice welcomee

    Nooo… but. If you need heat cable on the pipes, how do you propose to keep the tankless unit from freezing if there is cold snap and the tankless unit isn't running?
