I have seen it -- can't remember what it's called. It is a specialty item which is used on hot water heat, and routes the hot water into the radiator and allow the cooled water out without mixing at the valve.Br. Jamie, osb

That looks like a Honeywell Unique valve. This valve, patented in 1907, gave the people installing hot-water heat a way to compete with the people who were installing one-pipe steam. The Unique valve allowed them to connect a hot-water radiator with just one pipe. Here's the patent: https://heatinghelp.com/heating-museum/mark-c-honeywells-patent-for-the-unique-valve/
According to @DanHolohan in Classic Hydronics, "The Unique valve opened with a quarter turn and used a baffle to direct the water into the radiator. The cooler water flowed by the hot water and entered the Unique valve on the other side of the baffle. You control the amount of hot water going to the radiator by using the quarter-turn valve."

It’s a Honeywell “unique” radiator valve...and you’re not getting a replacement unfortunately. I’m assuming it’s leaking?0

Any ideas for after market products or idea?0

There are TRVs that convert one-pipe steam to hot water using a dip tube. They work on the same principle as Unique.Retired and loving it.0
