Pensotti Panel Radiator Replacing 17' of Slant Fin 30

Now I am considering replacing 17' of Slant Fin baseboard with a Pensotti 24 x 44 double radiator. It would be the first in a series loop containing another 12' of fin tube after the Pensotti. Can I just pipe with reducers 3/4"to 1/2" and be okay? I looked at their formulas for determining pressure drop, and it is a bit confusing to me. As usual, any help would be appreciated.

Here are couple ways that Buderus shows in their manual. I've used bothe Pensoti and Buders panel rad's and can't tell any difference between them.
