Changing out this boiler which was connected to a monoflo system with TRVs on the rad's. The hack who installed it connected the return to the supply and vice versa. Notice the flow check which was connected to the pump on the return.

    I've got an almost new Ultra (not my favorite by any means) that we removed from another job a few months ago. We're also installing a commercial indirect, so the chimney will be abandoned.

    It's an old, large house that a college had used as an admin building but is now being turned into a dorm.

    You'd love this job. It was originally a two pipe steam system which someone converted to a monoflo before the hack that did this boiler about 15 years ago.
