Update: Peerless 63-03L is current...PB says

Hi there-
I saw a great price on a 63-03L on AFSupply's web site (you can still find it on Google if you want to see it) and so I was going to order it right there but they were out of stock. Their chat agent told me that the item has been discontinued by Peerless and AFSupply didn't have any replacement in their system.

I'm going to call Peerless, but does anyone know anything? I'll update here if I find out more.

Update: PBHeat says it’s current

PB heat got back to me and said it’s current so I’ll try to ask AFSupply what’s up

@ethicalpaul Are they in stock? I thought that they are discontinued as previously mentioned? Hope that they are not discontinued.

    Hi @Intplm.

They don't seem to be in stock at AFSupply. Wallington has a couple according to their web site.

Where did you hear they were discontinued?

Word of mouth. That's why when you started looking it caught my interest. Didn't try to verify as thoroughly as you .Was waiting till I was closer to purchasing.
Looking forward to hearing about what you find.

AFSupply says the 63-03L and 63-03 are definitely marked as discontinued in their system and they can't order more. I didn't ask about the rest of the line. It feels like there is more to this story...

Probably AFSupply decided not to carry Peerless anymore.

That's a popular boiler. I wouldn't think they would cut that one

What Steamhead said ^ would be my guess as well but it wouldn't surprise me if they are showing it as "current" until dealer/Distributor inventory is exhausted. This is one to watch.

The conspiracy-prone side of my brain wants to link this with the recent acquisition

@ethicalpaul Would that be the left or the right side.☺︎ ?
But seriously/coincidently, I was thinking of that boiler as a replacement for my nieces house this summer. Im wondering what's going on.

I recently ordered a vent from AF Supply for the first time, website said it was in stock but it took 2 weeks to ship. I was going to order it from SupplyHouse.com but their website said it would be in stock in two weeks. I thought it was coincidental that it shipped the same day Supplyhouse got it back in stock and from the same town as Supplyhouse.

I agree with you Clammy. AFSupply and Wallington are my local ones, but AFSupply is misnamed now because they don’t seem to have a parts counter, but I did talk to one of their sales people and did order a radiator from them.

I’ll call Henry’s for sure and I’m sure I’ll get the boiler from them or Wallington.

I do like supplyhouse.com I admit because I can’t often make it to the supply places due to my day job (I’m a homeowner 😬)

    Thanks for the note!
