Has anyone had experience cleaning the water side of an Ultra heat exchanger. When I arrived at the clients house the boiler was cycling on high temperature with the return pipe cold and the supply line very hot. The boiler is piped secondary to the main loop that seemed to be moving water fine with a very low delta t. The Taco boiler pump on the return line of the boiler had a smoking hot motor even through the piping was cool. I took the Taco pump apart and found it to have a locked cartridge and the impeller was full of blue green deposits. I began flushing the boiler and got more of the blue green stuff. After changing the pump cartridge the boiler still has very large temperature rise. I feel the heat exchanger is partly blocked and feel it needs to be cleaned, but I am not sure how to proceed. Any thoughts???

    If you get the maintenance kit, it comes with.
    Also get the HX cleaning tool.
