We are confirmed! Tanya and I are going to be able to make it. We decided at the last minute to use this as some what of a vacation/business right off, and to just be able to meet you guys, so we bit the bullet and made the reservations. Now I just have to work a little harder to pay for it, but things are going good for business right now, so it seems doable.
We are having to fly in to JFK because it is 1/3 the price, so the cab should be very expensive, unless someone knows of a cheaper alternative to get to the place. The Mansfield has a special right now for the dates we will be there, and is right next door, so it seemed like our best option.
    Can't wait to get there.

@rick in Alaska So glad you're both able to make the trip. We'll celebrate! It's easy to get to the hotel from JFK. You can take the $5.00 Airtrain from the airport to the Long Island Railroad Jamaica station, and from there, a quick train ride into Pennsylvania Station. From there, you can walk to the hotel. Here's more: http://web.mta.info/mta/airtrain.htm

The cabs operate on a flat rate. There's also a bus: https://www.nycairporter.com/blog/how-much-is-a-cab-ride-from-jfk-to-manhattan/ The bus stops at Grand Central, which is just a few blocks from the hotel.

so cost at the door? Is there a sign up? I'm not big on the thought of New York but would love to sit in with all the incredible minds in this group.. Any hotels have indoor parking? I'm thinking a nice Harley ride to boot...

@lchmb, we'll be posting the registration page soon with more details. I'm not sure about indoor parking at hotels, but maybe the New Yorkers can answer that. Thanks!

Virtually no hotel has their own lots. But there’s plenty of parking lots, about $65/day

A blast from the past! We tracked down this video from Wetstock 2018.

On April 12, 2008, more than 200 Wetheads got together in Aurora, Colorado for Wetstock 2008. Wetstock is a free-flowing event where people who are interested in hydronic heating network and share what they've learned. Because of the generosity of Wetstock's sponsors, Rehau, Viessmann, Wilo, Taco and Ferguson, Wetstock was able to donate more than $14,000 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
