we recently replaced a gas fire steam boiler
we are having problems with the water level dropping too much

Does the water level return to normal level after the heating cycle ends? If so, the boiler needs to be skimmed, not drained and refilled but actually skimmed. Hopefully the installer put a skim port on there.0

The main thing to figure out at this point is are you losing water somewhere or is the water just slow to return?
What was the water situation with the old boiler?0 -
