I am replacing some valves and 9 notice that some of the old ones and some new ones don’t have the rubber/plastic tube sticking out of it. I’d this an issue? See pics.

That's just a drip tube to let condensate drip back into the radiator. It should not be an issue. Probably wasn't needed in the beginning.0
