TACO SR501 not turning on

I have a Buderus Logano G115 which has a Logamatic R2107 USA Controler. The Honeywell Pro TH411OD1007 thermostat runs to the TACO SR501. The TACO has no lights. The thermostat works (tested with ohmmeter), but the TACO doesn’t come on. How would I check this relay?

No lights? Not even a green one? You've got no line voltage coming into the relay.Contact John "JohnNY" Cataneo, NYC Master Plumber, Lic 1784

The 2107 supplies power to 501 or at least it should if wired correctlyTo learn more about this professional, click here to visit their ad in Find A Contractor.0

It’s wired correctly since it was working until it stopped working. I checked for ac voltage from 2107 terminals to SR501 and there was none.0

Ah...is there, by any chance, a fuse in there somewhere? A lot of those things do.Br. Jamie, osb

Maybe too little too late.
How is the SR501 wired?
Typically the zone(s) relay is powered constantly when using the 2107.
Terminal 63 on the 2107 is 120v power out to external zone controls. The DHW zone is controlled through the 2107.
So,
Constant 120v to the SR501. Green light always on.
Connect terminal 63 on the 2107 to terminal 5 (com) on the SR501.
Connect terminal 6 (N.O.) on the SR501 to the zone circulator.
In any instance, there should always be 120v at terminal 63 on the Logamatic save for domestic priority, WWSD, or other man made programming.
Have you tried switching the Logamatic to manual?0 -
Hi Peter
the SR501 has diagnostic lights to help assess what is going on. Green light means power applied. without that, the control is dead. Need to start there. If 120v confirmed with green light, a shunt at thermostat terminals will validate a demand. Some thermostats require 24v to close the switch, so a piece of wire at TT terminal may be necessary to prove control. if red light illuminates when TT is jumped out you should have 120 volts at bottom of control 120v out terminals. hopefully this helps.
