    With that sight glass being so dirty do you even know where the water line is? System needs to be flushed from the overhead mains down to the returns. sight glass should be clean with a visible water line.

    This is a new boiler installation. I don't understand your comment???

    Some Contractors Paint the Black iron,near Boiler Piping after a new install for looks. I've had this cause smell issues before on Steam systems.

    The house now smells 100% normal, even the basement. Amazing how much stink one dead squirrel can make! I mean, when you're roasting it every day, all day...
