Anyone have any first hand experience with any? The only one I am aware of was Daikin's Altherma.

Check out Thermatlantic. They have a module to couple with a ASHP of your choice.

I've been getting quite a few questions about Air-water HP and really have no basis for real world answers. We (my company) have put in hundreds for mini-splits, which work pretty well. I'd think the water temps required for most hudronic systems would make AWHP less desirable than AAHP.

They're good for radiant floors, low temp emitters that can work with 120* SWT Max.
