Need help in Atlanta

Hello Community! I have the pleasure of being one of the few people in Atlanta with a boiler/radiant heat system. I have been trying to find someone who can service the system and fix one zone that’s not getting heat and the pressure or air in the system is making noise every time it circulates a zone. Does anyone here know of someone in Atlanta or the surrounding area that might be able to service our system. I’ve called all the heating/HVAC companies in the area, they come out and look at it and try to guess how to repair it but they don’t know what they are doing. I’m at a loss and starting to use space heaters in zones that aren’t working.

The AHR convention is meeting in Atlanta this week. May you could slide over there and ask for someone local.

Have you tried AB&M? Atlanta boiler and mechanical? If they cant help. Ask who they might recommend.

Is it something that you would like to try and do yourself? If so post some pictures of your system.

@DZoro I’ve tried to do some repairs myself. I’ve replaced bonnet retainer assembly kits and valve zone motors. The system isn’t very well laid out so I would prefer to pay someone with more experience instead of me shooting in the dark.

@Ironman I’ll look up AHR convention and try to stop by there. Thanks for letting me know!

@Intplm. I have called AB&M. I’m apparently outside their coverage area because I’m actually in Kennesaw (northwest) Atlanta suburb.

Call them again and ask if they can recommend someone in the area.

It also sounds like you need to purge that zone that is making the noise.
@DZoro suggested some pictures. Send some, and maybe we can help?

@Intplm. I will call them again and if I can’t get someone out in the next week or so I’ll post some pictures and hopefully you guys can talk me through it. I really appreciate your responses!
