Weil-Mclain Steam Boilers

What is the latest on the W/M steam boiler? I talked ta a Weil rep a few weeks back, and he said that the EG knockdowns would still come with two tappings, but the packaged EG's would only have one tapping. This seems to make little sense, but thats what he said would happen. I noticed that the original thread was unceremoniously closed to further discussion.
I'm wondering why that happened.

Thanks Dave. I told him (the rep) that is seemed like a ridiculous move, and that while I concede that two tappings are not needed, it becomes a matter of flexibility for the installer. I told him it came across as a change born from cheapness. He said that he would pass along my concerns. I hope he did; and I hoped they helped.
