Attic Rafter Heat Barrier Assessment

Greetings all,

My walk-up attic has an unconventional rafter heat gain/insulation set-up that I need consultation help with.

Is anyone aware of a firm who can provide an assessment and recommendation? I envision they would need to be more than an insulation install firm but less than a full engineering firm...if something like this even exists. I checked with my utility company, they do not offer audit services and do not maintain a list of firms who do. I am located in northeast NJ.

YEs a little more info. With pictures of the attic.

The topic title suggests something already exists to possibly take advantage of heat gain? Yet insulate?

Or nothing exists, and you are wondering whether, or not as to make the attic apart of the envelope?
