We're crazy about old houses. And we're especially crazy about Butler's Pantries. Nothing cooler than their cabinetry.

But today we saw our first with a steam heated plate warmer:

    The fact that that vent didn’t snap off over the years is just as amazing! Very cool stuff.

    Nice Hoffman 2 vacuum vent. Those are getting really rare. I has 2 of those still on my system.

    You gonna make me show off our pantries now.

    Funny how you see a lot of the same specific hardware in a lot of houses. That warming plate is super cool. Hmmmm might encorporate that when we redo our kitchen counters. Could probably do it wit ha cast iron griddle and some copper tubing and a single vent.

    I’ve been on the hunt for a a CI radiator with a warming oven. If anyone ever sees one on the block...let me know.
