Lochinvar Knight KB106 - zone staying open constant call for heat

I have a KB106 and one of my zones won't close. Constant call for heat even after shutting off the thermostat in room, (then pulled batteries to be sure). What is the typical cause for this? I tried resetting the boiler by cutting off power from the panel and turning back on but it didn't work.

    I would be surprised if it had anything to do with the boiler.
    It is more likely a zone control or piping issue.
    Can you post more details and pictures?

    Is it possible that you pinched or damaged a wire for the thermostat creating a short? Possibly in another area of the house

    From your other post, I see you have honeywell valves.
    It you slide the lever and encounter no resistance, the valve is open. If there is resistance, the valve is closed. If the valve is pinned in the open position and will not release, you have a bad actuator head.

    Those valves have a pretty short life expectancy. They go through motors and end switches far too often. I would suggest buying a few of these and replacing as needed. It is an easy swap and you don't need to drain anything down.

    Zman! Thanks yes you are correct I do have these values and thought they could be the problem. I appreciate the link as well, really helpful!
