Water flow noise from transport heating pipe
Bosco

This year each time my steam boiler is turn on, I hear water flow sound in the transport pipe either coming down from 2nd fl or going up. Any ideas, please advise. Also auto feeder seems to refill water each day, is this normal? Couldn’t sleep at night with this noise.

Steam? The noise may be condensate flowing in a pipe. It is possible that one of the returns is not pitched correctly allowing water to pool, or one of the supplies (although that will often have water hammer as well). Check all the pipe pitches.
On the water adding -- no, that is not normal. Somewhere steam or water is escaping where it shouldn't. It may take a good deal of thought and exploration to find it.Br. Jamie, osb

How about pictures of your boiler from far back?0

You have a steam boiler and next to it is a water boiler.
Which one is running when you have the noise.
