Honeywell electric gas valve V155A2C9

I am looking for any help I can get with a Honeywell electric gas valve on a old steam boiler. The valve type is V155A2C9. The boiler works fine but the gas valve sticks open once every year or so and I would like to replace it. I have tried different contractors and just get "you need a new boiler" as they don't want to work on it. I also called Honeywell for specs on valve to try to find a direct or retro replacement but they won't help at all because I am a homeowner not a contractor. Very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike
