Heat exchanger

Am converting over from geothermal. To gas fired boiler old system had heat exchanger in forced air unit heated from geo. Plumper wants to remove unit and install new one says old one wouldn’t work off gas boiler unit. I don’t see any difference other than he sells me more parts.

    I think you should get another contractor. That one's either incompetent or dishonest. Or both.
