setting draft properly on burnham gas fired steam boiler

Hi, I purchased a Dwyer Mark II barometric manometer. I installed a Field Controls MG1 barometric draft control. This is on a Burnham Independence IN-4 natural draft boiler. (not powered draft). A couple of questions I have:
1. is there a way to measure over fire draft?
2. what is the proper over fire draft?
3. what is the proper draft setting pre-draft control?
4. am I to use the "high" or the "low" fitting on the Dwyer manometer? (does the hose connect to the high or the low fitting?)
5. am I setting to a positive draft per the manometer, or a negative draft? (I have seen alot of contradictory information)
I am hoping you can assist. Is there a video available that may answer all or most questions?
thanks for any help you are willing to provide

Think your spinning your wheels. The independence is a natural draft boiler with a draft hood. I wouldn't use a barometric damper with it and there is no need to measure or adjust the draft...............unless you have some type of unusual condition like excessive chimney draft
