Utica Heating brand boiler

Hi guys,
Great to have found this place the knowledge and help here is fantastic. I am trying to learn more about a steam boiler replacement my contractor is suggesting... I am replacing a very old Steam boiler made by Utica. It's actually a millivolt system. The price to replace it with a Utica PEG series is out of my budget (this is a rental) it was suggested to me to look at the brand "Utica Heating" I was told it is similar to "Utica" a little less expensive and owned by the parent company? The model I am looking at is UH1604HSID 112k BTU. This is a small house 1 floor with 5 rooms and 1 bathroom. I plan to add a VXT auto water feeder as well...
Can anyone confirm or comment on Utica Heating brand?
thanks in advance!!

The radiators need to be measured to come up with an EDR. The 112 sounds rather large for a small house.DL Mechanical LLC Heating, Cooling and Plumbing 732-266-5386

I cannot force people to spend money, I can only suggest how to spend it wisely.......0 -
Run far away from that boiler. Side outlets + steam = trouble.
Get a Weil McLain/Williamson EG or Peerless 63.
Be happy.
And yes, the radiators need to be measured. If he didn't do that, find someone else.New England SteamWorks

Just my opinion but if money was tight, I'd ditch the auto water feeder.0

That's a rebranded Dunkirk. It is very sensitive to improper steam piping. Most low-ball contractors don't pipe these (or any) boilers properly which causes a lot of problems.
If tenants get tired of heating problems and move out, there goes your rental income. Spend the money on a quality boiler and installation.
