We took out a roaring 3 1/2 ton and installed a 2 1/2 ton, now it purrs like a kitten, cleaned up some trunk lines.
Apparently the owners has issues with the original hvac contractor 15 years ago, the hvac guy kept adding mini-duct to quiet down the system, So, we simply removed all the excess. There must be 60-70' in this pic, i wish i measured it!

they had loops of mini duct just dangling about. The amount of outlets didn't change Oh wait, yes it did, they had one outlet blowing in an attic/knee wall area! we capped/patched that one off at the trunk.1
