I want to swap out the CG450 cycleguard that came on the boiler. I want a Safguard on it can I use the the CG450 probe that is in there now?

Yes, no problem. With the SafGard you have to lose either the red or orange wire. I always forget which, but I think you lose the red.New England SteamWorks

Thanks for the comments, probably will swap out the old probe. Since it's 5 years old.
New England I have a orange wire that is capped off and not used, the red wire looks to be connected to the water feeder.
