Oil Boiler Upgrade

1980 sq ft Four Square built in circa 1910. 6 small bedrooms, 1 bath upstairs, currently on 2 loops. 4 equal sized rooms down with 1 bath also on 2 loops. 2 zones, 4 loops total. Plaster lathe construction with hollow walls. Catskills NY.
30 windowns and 3 doors have all been replaced a few years back. Attic insulated and floor between 1st floor and full dirt basement insulated. Not much else has changed.
For info and nostalgia :-), I attached what I have now, which was installed back in 1963.
Any guidance for a new system?

Step 1. Do the heat loss calculations for each room. Be realistic. Then you can start thinking about what size boiler you need... and what type. Would I be correct in thinking that you are hot water with nice cast iron radiators? Makes a difference...Br. Jamie, osb

No radiators. 3/4” baseboard. :-/0

Start slow and do a heat loss. You can do this yourself by downloading the Slant Fin app. It just takes a little patience.
Your real heat loss is probably more like 70,000 (just a wild guess you need to calculate it) The old heat loss has fudge factor upon fudge factor upon fudge factor. All boiler ratings automatically include a 1.15 piping & pickup factor. No need to add more. Fuel savings and better comfort will result0 -
