Watts Onix radiant tubing system

Anyone installing the Watts Onix radiant tubing system.
Customer looking at using this tubing for a radiant heating job on a staple up system.
I know when using Viega pex tubing on a staple up job they recommend using aluminum heat transfer sheets.
Are aluminum heat transfer sheets needed with the Watts Onix tubing?
Any drawbacks to using Watts Onix radiant pex tubing?

If its the Onix that is the epdm rubber stuff w/ the so called O2 barrier in the jacket.
    Don't do it.
I have seen too many issues w/ it in systems I service. I have plenty of pictures....

I have never used Onix. I think that type of tubing has some baggage (probably unfounded) from failures of similar products.

There are very few applications where plateless staple up is a good plan. If you are willing to run high supply temps, you can get <12 btu/foot out of it.

I see you referred to Watts Onix radiant pex tubing.
To be clear Watts Onix is EPDM. Watts also makes pex and pex-al , very different than Onix.
