New to steam - need a good contractor

Hi all!
I'm a newcomer on this forum, as I just bought a house close to Boston that has a steam boiler for heating (Burnham Independence series). I am not sure how the former owner maintained the boiler, but I don't think it was done properly. The cut-in pressure was set to 2 psi (I lowered it to 0.5) and it does hiss and bang when it starts.
Now, I am sure in time I'll get to become more or less an expert, but right now I'd like to get someone who knows very well how steam works to service the boiler. I'm just a bit affraid that many plumbers are not exactly experts in this kind of systems, and was wondering if you can recommend a good contractor.
I'm European myself and never had to deal with steam heating - before buying the house I hadn't even heard about it
