The desire is for the system to operate at the lowest pressure possible, so typically you want all settings on the pressuretrol to be as low as possible.
The pressuretrol is a safety device. If the boiler is properly sized and properly installed the pressuretrol shouldn't do anything under normal operating conditions.
In reality many boilers are not sized properly and not installed properly so the pressuretrol becomes an operating device, again want it as low as possible.0
