Purple Water

I moved into this house 2 years ago, and realized I never had the boiler serviced. Its a gas commercial-grade Wells.
I talked to the techs, and they told me that it was a little dirty, but overall in great shape.
I went to check it out after they left, and I noticed that the water in the sight glass is a pinkish/purplish.
I'm assuming this is some sort of treatment or additive? Just want to be sure something isn't wrong. Good or bad?

Looks like Steammaster, or something of the sort. Nice and clean, which is good!Br. Jamie, osb
