@JMSullivan Today's little project. I started a new thread because I didn't want to high jack yours but these convectors are similar to yours. Although there are screws which hold a metal cover with a damper attached, there is base molding on the bottom and trim on the top. The traps themselves are difficult to repair without removing the element. I was able to remove 1 trap body, repair and reinstall working in the space between the opening and the floor, as for the others, I had to remove the element. The original installer nailed the element brackets to the framing. I removed the nails and reinstalled using screws. All of the traps are Barnes and Jones Type C 1/2" inlet 3/4" outlet.
